J & J Outfitters offers some of the best wing shooting in the world, in that bird hunter's paradise of Argentina. We offer multiple species hunts in various locations throughout the country. This gives us the advantage to hunt the birds where the birds want to be depending on the time of year and conditions.
From the
neo-tropical areas in the North east of the country for ducks, pigeon and perdiz, to the Cordoba region for dove, perdiz and pigeon to the duck and perdiz grounds of the South Central region. We cover it all. You tell us what you want and we will arrange a custom package for you at the most reasonable price possible. We hunt where the highest concentration of birds are,period!
We offer some of the best high volume dove in the world (1,500 - 2,000 shots a day) from our world class lodge at Arroyito, near Cordoba. Arroyito is ground zero for high volume dove shooting in Argentina. It does not get any better. The dove hunting will wear out your shoulder! If you love dove hunting then look no further. You can shoot all the dove you want within 100 yards of our lodge!
The duck hunting is also the best in the world! It is better to be experienced that described (April - October). The seasons in Argentina are the reverse of ours. April thru October is their fall and winter. Shoot more ducks in one day than a whole season in the US! We know and hunt where the ducks are. We have several areas for duck and will hunt the best locations that are holding the most birds. The best areas vary year to year depending on feed and water conditions. We hunt ducks in the provinces of Santa Fe, Enrie Rios, and Buenos Aires. Species that can be collected include: Brown Pintail, Rosy Billed Pochard, Cinnamon Teal, Silver Teal, Speckled Teal, Brazilian Teal, Ringed Teal, Chiloe Widgeon, White Face, Fulvous and Black Bellied Tree Ducks, Argentine Red Shovler, Black Headed Duck and Bahama Pintail. It is a collectors dream! Limits vary from 35 - 50 ducks a day depending on location.
Pigeons, Pigeons, Pigeons! Try your wing shooting skills for this grossly underated quarry. 500 shots possible in one day! We hunt where the pigeons are. We will try to hunt them over grain fields when possible. If you want a real classic wing shooting challenge then try our pigeon hunting. It will impress you.
If you enjoy good old fashioned upland hunting with pointers then you will love their world class Perdiz hunting. Perdiz is a fast flying upland game bird that resembles a quail in flight and size. In our perdiz field the dogs will be on point literally every five minutes! By the way, no briars here, but instead open pastures with 12 inch stubble is the norm.
